Looking back at the Environment – Environment for Life 2025 conference
The Czech Environmental Information Agency (CENIA) organized the 6th edition of the conference Environment – Environment for Life on 23–24 October 2025. The event was held under the auspices of Environment Minister Petr Hladík and offered a space for the exchange of knowledge among experts, research teams, representatives of the state administration and the general public.
The conference focused on the key areas of current environmental policy and research – waste and circular economy, protection of water, soil and other natural resources, biodiversity, climate protection and air quality, as well as tools and technologies for environmental protection.
The first day of the conference was dedicated to the presentations of the project Centre of Environmental Research: Waste and Circular Economy and Environmental Security (CEVOOH), which focuses on the transformation to a circular economy, pollution monitoring, product life cycle analysis, ecodesign and environmental safety issues. The second day was dedicated to presentations of projects supported by the programme Environment for Life, focused on applied research and innovation with an impact on public policy making and practice.
Photographs and video footage from the conference are now available on the conference website, which allows you to recall the atmosphere of the event again and get acquainted with the presented results.
We thank all the speakers and participants for their contributions and interest in current topics in the field of environment.
We look forward to meeting you next year.
