The essential parameters of the products, marketed on the global market in current and innovative consumer activities, cannot be influenced by the activities of the research team in the present project. Therefore, the ambition of this WP’s activities is not to cover all aspects of ecodesign across the entire portfolio of marketed products, but to focus on what can be influenced. On the other hand, consumer attitudes and needs can be mapped at the national level. Such information can be valuable both for global producers (market-specific targeting, marketing studies, etc.) and especially for producers of regional products. Activities related to the analysis of everyday consumer products and their packaging (a high proportion of total waste production at the same time represents the potential for future change) are then directed to this market segment in order to enable and streamline their recycling by changing the material design or by changing the packaging design from this perspective. The addition of a consumer plane then leads to the overall concept of ecodesign in this WP.
